Dr. Ali Mabrouk, Ph.D. holds the position of Professor of Business Strategy as well as Director of Research at UGSM-Monarch Business School. Dr. Mabrouk also sits as a member of the Academic Council of the school. He holds the German Computer and Electrical and Information Technology engineering degree, Dipl.–Ing., from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. He is also the holder of a dual executive MBA degree from the Grande Ecole de Commerce ESSEC in Paris and the Mannheim Business School (Germany). He also is a holder of a Doctorate in Business Administration by Research from SMC University in Austria jointly with the Universidad Mayor de Santiago in Chile. His doctoral thesis investigated inter-firm collaboration and its performance measurement in the airlines industry. Dr. Mabrouk has been a researcher at both the Fraunhofer Institute and the University of Braunschweig in Germany.
Dr. Mabrouk is an experienced manager working in various business sectors since 1996 at both a strategic and operational level. He has a broad knowledge of strategic, financial and information technology issues as well as specialized knowledge in organizational change management. Dr. Ali Mabrouk also holds a Professional Certificate in Information Security Management (CISM) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in USA, as well as a Professional Certificate in Airlines Finance and Accounting Management from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
