Dr. Prasad holds the position of Professor of Information Technology at UGSM-Monarch Business School, Switzerland. He also currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Computer Science at a large state university in Florida, USA.

When Dr. Prasad was a student, his initial academic interest was Mathematics. He received the Bachelor of Science degree with Mathematics major from Acharya Nagarjuna University and received the highest score in Mathematics in the entire university. Later, he received a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Applied Mathematics from Andhra University. Dr. Prasad received a Master of Technology degree (with first class) in Computer Science and Technology from Andhra University and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Dr. Prasad’s primary research interests lie in the areas of electronic commerce, knowledge representation, artificial intelligence, data mining and machine learning. He has more than sixty research publications in peer reviewed international conferences and journals. He has been a program committee chair, co-chair, reviewer, editorial board member, guest editor and editor-in-chief for around one hundred and forty international conferences and journals in around twenty different countries. He has delivered keynote speeches and invited talks in around ten international conferences and universities in Greece, India, and the USA. He has been a reviewer or adviser for eleven Ph.D. theses and seven Masters theses. Dr. Prasad has taught around thirty different courses in computer science and information technology for both undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Prasad has worked for three multi-national software companies in India and the USA. He also regularly visits nearby schools and voluntarily teaches mathematics for children who need additional support.
