Dr. Francois Therin holds the position of Professor of Innovation & Strategy at UGSM-Monarch Business School. Dr. Therin also holds the position of Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University College of Media Arts and Sciences in the Sultan of Oman. Dr. Therin holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree jointly from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK) and the Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. He also holds a Diplome d’Etudes Approfondies (DEA) from the Institute d’Administration des Entrpreprises in Aix-en-Province, France as well as a Masters in Management from the Toulouse Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Therin has also been an invited lecturer at several well-known institutions including: the Singapore Institute of Management, Queensland University of Technology, Université Laval (Quebec), the Academy of National Economy (Moscow), ENSAE Toulouse, EAP-Paris, EICS Poland and ESC Marseille. Dr. Therin has extensive consulting experience as well as sitting on the editorial boards of several journals. He has supervised over 50 graduate and doctoral candidates at the M.Sc., MBA and DBA levels. He is also an active organizer having coordinated many functions acting in the capacity of Chair, Co-Chair, Representative-At-Large or as member of expert panels for several academic societies.
