Dr. Manu Sharma, Ph.D.
Visiting Professor of Finance
Dr. Manu Sharma holds the position of Visiting Professor of Finance at UGSM-Monarch Business School. He is also a faculty member of finance at the University Institute of Applied Management Science of Punjab University, India. Dr. Sharma holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Punjab University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts and a Doctor of Finance from SMC University Switzerland.
Dr. Sharma has extensive practical financial experience having worked in investment banking, debt capital markets and corporate & structured finance area in USA for i-Bank Ltd, GE Capital International Services and Trudeau & Trudeau Associates. The focus of his work is on valuations for M&A and private equity, credit analysis of loan and lease syndication deals and corporate finance advisory. He has also worked on building financial models for M&A analysis, private equity valuation, patent valuation, credit risk and capital markets as well as capital structure analysis, including:
- Middle Market M&A Deals worth $4 billion dollars
- Valuations for M&A and Private equity businesses worth $5 billion
- Loan syndication deals worth $20 billion
Dr. Sharma brings both practical and academic knowledge and focus to his teaching of graduate students.
