Dr. Michael Nkasu, Ph.D. holds the position of Professor of Quantitative Methods and Industrial Engineering at UGSM-Monarch Business School. Dr. Nkasu holds a Ph.D. Degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from the University of Bradford, U.K., as well as a M.Sc. Degree in Production Management & Manufacturing Technology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He also holds B.Sc. Degrees with Honours in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences from the University of Wales, Swansea, U.K. Dr. Nkasu also holds practice licenses in a number of highly prestigious professional institutions in Engineering, Computers, Management, Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research.

With academic and professional experience of some 30 years in the UK, Hong Kong and Germany, he has made notable academic and professional contributions to teaching, research, administration, consultancies and conferences/seminars. In the course of his academic and industrial professional practices, ha has been involved in the design, accreditation, implementation and management of various Engineering and Management Degree programs at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate levels. Dr. Nkasu has also supervised over 200 graduate theses at various universities. Professionally, Dr. Nkasu has consulted to over 18 companies  and 10 departments of the Hong Kong government.
