Dr. Wardrope holds the positions of Professor of International Business & Management at UGSM-Monarch Business School. He also holds the position of Professor and Director of International Business Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma as well as being an Associate Professor at Texas State University. He has also held positions at Baruch College, Stephen F. Austin State University, The University of Nebraska and the Oklahoma City Community College. Professor Wardrope also has international teaching experience holding visiting professorships at the Universidad Marítima de Chile-Viña del Mar and at the Centro de Estudios Interamericanos in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Dr. Wardrope holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from Oklahoma State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Wardrope is a member of several international associations including the Phi Kappa Phi honors society. Dr. Wardrope is the recipient of numerous excellency awards including: outstanding teaching awards, outstanding researcher and distinguished paper awards to name only a few.

Professor Wardrope’s academic interest focus on international business especially of Chile, management communication and business research methodology.
