Professor Thomas Brandstaetter
Professor of International Business
Professor Thomas Brandstaetter is an active consultant in the field of international procurement and internationalization strategies, developing market-entry strategies for European companies in Asia and the Middle East. He has contributed to consulting projects for SMEs in various industries.
Currently, Professor Brandstaetter is a PhD candidate at the University of Liverpool, carrying out research concerning management-systems in the Middle East with particular interest in Jordan, where he has considerable experience. Professor Brandstaetter holds a Degree in International Business Studies from Kufstein University of Applied Sciences in Austria.
Professor Brandstaetter has spent a visiting year studying and working at Korea University in Seoul, where he focused on Asian management systems and internationalization strategies. Professor Brandstaetter has also participated in research dealing with trade policies of developing countries as a research fellow at the central bank of Ecuador in Quito.
